Oman 5 Ayn till Al Amhra

Sunday 20/12 Ayn till Al Amhra 60 km

10 km after Ayn I join Barut, but I don't enter in the village I turn on right.
I enter in the Mountain, which means that each side the mountains are high now, with big geometric forms.
Sint is 15 km away. There is a steep 2 km climb just before. It ia a little village with a river and palm trees gardens. I feed my bottles of water in the mosque with filtered water, and take the road on the left.
I get 10 km up and down and then I arrive at the very steep and horrible gravel road to go down during 3km, impossible to cycle down, I have to walk retaining the bike.
From the top I get a great view ofthe village with big gardens of palm trees and fields.
At the end I stop near a house in the shadow. A school bus stops, a child get off, and the father comes. He invites me for a cafe, plate of fruits, and dattes. And he gives me 1kg dattes. All comes from the garden of the family house.
He indicates me a shortcut by the land to go to Al Hamra. Well it is the road on the left after the bridge. It follow a river by a narrow valley between 2 high slopes. It is asfalt and flat for 3km. Then it becomes gravel and with steep short up and down for 5 km, till a last big climb. And then asfalt again a bit Of downhill, and mostly flat 5km till the entrance of Al Hamra.
I go to the mosque, shower, washing and filtered water.
Then I still get 10 km by the Hamra town, following the sign Hoota cave to rich the foot of the hill. I camp here behind the buildings.
