24/12 Maskin till Al Khabura 88 km
In the morning no more wind, good. The road continue in a valley between 2 brown slopes, up and down. But it is mostly descending so it is easy. It follows aa first river, get a little pass, and meet an other river.
Then the first village Majzi is 30km from Maskin, with 2 food store along the road,
Sedan is far from the road, and Al Ghuzain is 60 km from Mazkin. Al Ghuzain is a big town on the other side of the river, with a large old castle.
Then I get 22 km till the road 1, by a flat land, no more mountains around, frontwind, no trees, just an industrial area in the middle of nowhere.
I cross on foot the road 1, and I buy a coocked chicken in a coffee shop, and I join the sea and the beach. Well in fact the beach is used as a port by the fishermens. So it is full of litlle stores made with bambu or bricks, and on the other side half of the houses are ruined. Strange ambiance, with poor people around. I eat my chicken looking at the sea and I continue my way.
The road gets off the beach and goes back to the road 1. I follow it for about 3 km and I go back to the sea. Good idea I find again the road along the beach. But no more Fisher men, here the beach is for leisuring, with palm trees, and local families picniquing ot playing football.
I pitch the tent near a tree. It is so windy I have to use a rope to fix it at the bike. Well till late cars are passing by, it is a very concurred beach. Anyway I get a good night, rocked by the song of the waves.
